The Socata TBM (now Daher TBM) is a family of high-performance, single-engine turboprop business and utility light aircraft that was collaboratively developed between American Mooney Airplane Company and French light aviation manufacturer Socata.
The Socata TBM 850 is a single-engine turbo prop aircraft, which seats up to 6 passengers and has a maximum range of up to 1,214 nautical miles.
It’s the higher-performance version of the earlier TBM 700, fitted with a Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-66D engine, rated at 850 hp in flight (700 hp at take-off).
