Photo of the Week: Formation Mountain Flying in Norway

In this series, we feature a new photo or photo series each week! Send us your photos here for a chance to be featured.

This week's photo of the week was sent to us by Fredrik R. Bjørneseth (@fredrikbjorneseth).

Here's a photo that expresses some of the beautiful surroundings that I am so lucky to be able to explore.

My name is Fredrik and I am a student pilot working towards my PPL and my goal is to have a career as a commercial pilot.

The photo of the Super Cub is related to a movie that the local flight school made. An incredible experience flying formation in this mountainous terrain. This is also a local flight just a couple of miles to the north of Volda. We flew out together and at low altitude throughout the valleys. Be sure to check the map for powerlines 😄

The aircraft that I fly is a Cessna 172M.

Thanks for the beautiful photo Frederik!
