The coolest thing about this picture is my footwear. Here, I'm rocking a pair of original WW2 Aviator boots. Other than the Bilrite heel, the entire boot is made from wool, including the sole! Rubber was one of many resources which were conserved greatly but in very high demand during the war. Another being aluminum, forcing Howard Hughes to construct his large flying boat primarily from wood.
