Photos of the Week: Time Building in Lithuania

In this series, we feature a new photo or photo series each week! Send us your photos here for a chance to be featured.

This week's photos of the week were sent to us by Arvids Sadikovs.

These pictures are from my time building in Lithuania last summer. My name is Arvids Sadikovs and I am from Latvia, currently and finally a commercial pilot license holder looking forward to getting my first type rating.

During PPL training, you don’t get much freedom, since you are flying routes and procedures your instructor tells you to do, like exercises in the training area. No doubt I enjoyed all of that, but after I got my PPL and went further for my frozen ATPL license, there was that moment.. You are done with all the theoretical exams, got your instrument rating, multi-engine and night rating and the only thing left is a few hours to build untill the final skill check. Those hours were awesome, you just go to airfield, take your airplane out and these pictures are from one of my most memorable moments from my time building.

Thanks for the beautiful photos Arvids!
