Flying: Textron Aviation unveils new single-engine turboprop, what do you think about it?

Textron Aviation, the manufacturer of Beechcraft and Cessna aircraft, unveiled its new single-engine turboprop airplane. According to the company, the plane will cruise at about 285 kts with a max range of 1600 NM, which would make it a good competitor to the already well-known PC-12 and Socata turboprops like the TMB850 or TBM900.

When you look at it, you just can't help but see the big similarities with Pilatus' PC-12 and the Socata planes.

What do you guys think about the new turboprop? Should Textron just stay with its Citations and King Airs, or could this be a real good move by the company?

Personally, I think it looks gorgeous, I've always loved turboprops. The only con I can think of atm is that the aircraft will have a GE engine, instead of the PT6 that's used on other popular turboprops.
