7 Incredible Shots by Pilots Flying over Iceland’s Fagradalsfjall 2021 Eruption

The eruption occurred on Friday evening near Fagradalsfjall, about 20 miles southwest of the capital, Reykjavik, the Icelandic Meteorological Office said on Twitter. Essentially turning the night sky into a real-life lava lamp. Luckily, no injuries were reported.
When scrolling through Instagram this weekend, I found myself browsing through some Icelandic pilots’ accounts showcasing some of the most amazing footage I have ever seen, flying above or right next to flowing lava. So I decided to bundle them here for you to enjoy!
